L’Oréal Professionnel is battling plastic consumption in salons with its Source Essentielle line.
The professional hair care line, which is sold exclusively in salons, includes Souce Essentielle Daily Shampoo and Conditioner, Source Essentielle Nourishing Shampoo and Conditioner, Source Essentielle Delicate Shampoo and Source Essentielle Radiance Mask.
Products in the line are vegan, silicone-free, paraben-free and sulfate-free formulas. Products were reportedly created with 80-100% naturally-derived ingredients. Additionally, real flower and plant inclusions are suspended in every shampoo.
As a way of embracing the sustainability movement, clients are invited to refill their shampoo in-salon (pictured above) to reduce their plastic consumption.
